My art practice brings together my love of nature, art history, and Buddhism. Early in my artistic life, I noticed that every part of a painting depends on something else to define its qualities. A leaf is incomplete unless you paint the space that holds it. Color is entirely relational. For me, painting is an investigation and meditation on our interdependent, mutually forming, always connected world.
